The development is on a sloping site, so it incorporates a partial basement to accommodate this. The restricted ridge height also had to be maintained from the existing housing blocks.

Seven new parking bays were created alongside the new block, requiring a revised site entrance and new access road. This demanded revised drainage with specific attenuation measures, along with new sewer connections to the busy main road in the front of the site.

Our client also took this opportunity to install new boundary walls and railings to the corner plot, providing a fresh and appealing ‘gated’ feel to the development. We were delighted to have the opportunity to build a high-quality asset to an agreed timescale and within budget.
