It’s celebration time at A.W. Hardy, thanks to us being awarded the contract to construct a large industrial unit at Southend’s Airport Business Park.
The Business Park is one of the area’s most desirable locations for firms to set up shop. A collaboration between Henry Boot Developments and Southend-on-Sea City Council, the wider development has quickly become one of Essex’s top industrial and logistics hubs.
We’re very proud to have been chosen to deliver a state-of-the-art industrial unit that will combine over 14,000 sq ft of warehouse spaces with 2,357 sq ft of offices. The building is the brainchild of Jefferson Sheard Architects, and we’re delighted that we’ll be working with construction consultants Rex Proctor and Partners.
While we can’t wait to get stuck into this new project, it’s not the first time we’ve worked at this location. Before the site could be developed, Westcliff Rugby Club needed to be relocated to an adjacent plot. It was achieved thanks to the outstanding new clubhouse we delivered.
We’re looking forward to breaking ground and completing the new industrial unit with our usual painstaking care.
