We are delighted to announce that we’ve been contracted to build a brand new four-classroom block for The St Christopher School, Southend. We got stuck into the project during the first week of April and we’ll have it completed by the beginning of 2026.
Architects, The Livemore Partnership designed the facility to make better use of the space and create an attractive learning environment for the school’s Early Years and Key Stage 1 classes. Each of the four classrooms will feature toilets and storage areas, while the block will also include a range of other spaces, including a sensory room, IT room, staff kitchen area and meeting room. The area surrounding the building will be landscaped with new grass and an area dedicated to wildflowers.
We’re proud to be working with the school again, having already successfully completed projects such as the first floor in the main school. We’re also happy to have delivered an information session with the school to keep stakeholders – including parents and neighbours – up to speed with how we’ll minimise disruption to the local community and to children’s learning.
