Ecclesiastical Case Study
Christ Church Centre
The client required the erection of a new church hall on the side of the existing traditional church. The structure needed to provide a bright, versatile, modern space whilst not detracting from the original architecture of the main church building.
Constructed on pad and strip foundations using brick and block, some notable features of this project include the tall picture windows and the shape of the internal rooms, which follow the sloping angle of the new roof.
We installed new facilities comprising:
- large communal hall
- two meeting rooms
- full catering kitchen
- toilet facilities
- foyer area
- new block paved car park
- landscaped gardens
The hall is now a busy hub serving a wide range of community organisations, such as parent and toddler groups, Brownies and Guides, diet and fitness groups, and a tuition organisation.
