Background

Over the years we have worked with many churches and charitable organisations to successfully complete landmark building projects, as well as make improvements to existing facilities. These have incorporated both traditional and modern building methods and materials.

We began this project by demolishing an existing 1960s concrete church to make way for a new and iconic building. This was constructed using a laminated frame, clad with traditional brickwork and a tiled roof.

Stained glass

The most delicate part of the construction consisted of fitting the bespoke stained-glass windows, which make up 60% of the building. These stunning designs were created by architectural glass artist Sarah Galloway and give the building its unique character.

The project was finished on time and to a very high specification. The new church incorporated a baptismal pit, hall, large foyer, communal kitchen, crèche facilities and three large meeting rooms. It also has a new car park.

An asset for the future

We enjoyed helping West Leigh Baptist Church achieve its vision. We take pride in the fact that our quality craftsmanship will benefit the congregation and community for many years to come.
